Reasons To Visit Cornwall..

GREAT BEACHES

Cornwall has one of the best coastlines in the UK. Surfers flock to the region to test themselves against big waves, while the large, sandy beaches are a favourite of families. The favourable weather means it has the mildest climate in Britain. If you want sand, rocks, or activities in abundance, visit Cornwall!

PLANT DIVERSITY

Due to the warmer weather, Cornwall is home to plants and fauna that would struggle to grow elsewhere in the UK ; Palm Trees are a common sight. The county is the base for the unique Eden Project - a series of domes that house a range of plants from across the World. Their zipwire is great fun for the children to visit!

FISHING VILLAGES

Cornwall boasts a number of picturesque fishing villages which make a great day trip! Port Isaac and Mullion harbour are just two of these gorgeous little places. Their history dates back hundreds of years. Some of the villages also have traditional sea walls - built to protect them from the winter storms.

LOCAL FOOD

There is a long history of food innovation throughout Cornwall. The Cornish Pasty is famous worldwide - but none taste as great as eating one straight from the oven! Clotted cream is also a Cornish creation and tastes fabulous with jam and scones. On a warm afternoon, the local ice cream is a refreshing option for the sweet-toothed.
